Located on a hillside in one acre of its own grounds, our self catering cottage sits looking out over Uig Bay and the Western Isles. Sheltered and private, yet with a dramatic outlook the cottage makes an ideal vantage point to observe otters playing on the loch shore. You can sit on a window seat and watch buzzards soaring at eye level or relax on the veranda in front of a spectacular Skye sunset. Prices from: £300 - £650 per week (full and half week breaks available)
Sleeps 6 persons with two double rooms, one with a king size bed and one with a sleigh bed. The third room has a bed which can be made a double or two singles. All three bedrooms have beautiful sea views. Furnished in a comfortable traditional style with tasteful tartan decor, the cottage offers a taste of highland living with all modern conveniences such as Sky TV/DVD, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.

The cottage has a Rayburn cooker in the high spec modern kitchen. Linen and bedding are provided.

There are lots of walks nearby and the cottage provides a good spot for bird watching. There are 3 pubs and one restaurant in Uig, and there are also island cruises from the pier one mile away. The Fairy Glen is 1/2 a kilometer away, the Isle of Skye Brewery and the Tarbet/ Uist ferry are 2km away. Portree, Skye's capital, is a 20 minute drive and has a range of shops, a swimming pool, cinema, gym, restaurants, cafes, harbour, boat trips and horse riding stables. The Museum of Island Life is 10km to the north.
