Set just a few metres from Loch Linnhe, this Scottish Baronial house was built in the grand style of 1892 and has uninterrupted panoramic views of mountains and the loch. Retaining all the Scottish character of the period with pine panelling, delicate plaster cornices and magnificent turrets, Ardrhu House has 7 bedrooms and provides self catering accommodation for up to 14 persons. The house's grand entrance leads into a dining room with open fire and a dining table to seat 14 persons. The fully fitted kitchen has a range cooker, dishwasher, washer, dryer and a large fridge freezer. The ground floor also has a library, a large lounge with open fires, small gymnasium, sauna with shower room. There are 2 double and 5 twin bedrooms, all spacious with period furniture. The master bedroom has a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath situated within one of the turrets overlooking the Loch. The 2nd double bedroom has views over the loch and mountains is also en suite shower room. There are 3 additional large bath/ shower rooms on the first floor to accommodate the 5 twin bedrooms.
Gas central heating throughout and log fires. The lounge has a 42'' TV with video and DVD player, mini DVD player. There is a gym sauna and exercise equipment. Parking for five cars.
Offering peace and tranquillity, Ardrhu House is not isolated, being just a quarter of a mile off the main A82 road down a private drive, just 9 miles south of Fort William and 5 miles north from Glencoe. Within the grounds of the house you will find a coin-operated launderette, ornamental pond, barbeque and small children's play area, as well as an excellent all-weather tennis court for the use of our residents.
