Located amongst the working crofts of Strathcanaird, Am Fuaran (gaelic for The Well) is 10 minutes drive north from the picturesque village of Ullapool.
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery in the heart of the Highlands, our bed and bereakfast is close to the mountains of Wester Ross and Assynt, providing an ideal base for exploring the wild unspoiled landscape of the North and West coasts. Prices from: £30 per person/night
We have two spacious rooms, both located on the ground floor.
Our double room looks out over the Strath and to the hills beyond.
Our twin room overlooks the front garden area and benefits from the evening sun. This room can also be configured as a Kingsize.
Both rooms have a private shower and wash hand basin and share an adjacent wc.
Rooms are equipped with a hospitality tray, toiletries, hairdryers, electric shaver point, alarm clock Wi-fi connection, TV and DVD player (upon request).

The private guest lounge is equipped with Sky TV, video and DVD player, CD, Hi Fi System, IPod Dock (Upon request), a library of books, videos, DVDs and CDs, an open fire, games and local information. Am Fuaran is set within approx 3/4 acre of garden, all of which your are welcome to use.
There are several seating areas located around the grounds, all offering different views.
Our large south facing decked area is the perfect place to sit and watch the local sheep dogs at work.
