Located only 4 miles from the ferry terminal at Brodick, our country house bed and breakfast is situated on the east coast of the island, on the edge of the coastal village of Lamlash. From its elevated position, Altachorvie enjoys stunning views over rolling lawns and Lamlash Bay to the Holy Isle. Prices from: £32.50 per person/night
We have 13 bedrooms, most of which are en suite, along with chalet accommodation to the rear of the house. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer, clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Indoor facilities include a bar, lounge, conservatory and a games room with table tennis, board games and card tables. Croquet, volleyball and badminton can be enjoyed in the garden.

Meals are served in an informal, friendly atmosphere at tables for up to eight guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7.30pm for an additonal charge. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered.
No smoking. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday, a self-select picnic lunch can be provided for a small charge. Free car parking is available.

The country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. There are very good drying facilities and storage for bicycles. Nearby tourist attractions include Brodick Castle and Country Park, only 6 miles away and the Isle of Arran distillery, 17 miles away at Lochranza .
