Situated only one mile from Princes Street, on the main A701 road into Edinburgh City Centre from the South, our elegant and detached Georgian villa was built in 1820 and has been completely refurbished. Located a 10 minute drive from the City Bypass, our family run guest house is also on the main bus route, providing access to the rest of Edinburgh and its many attractions. We have a variety of guest rooms including double, twin and family rooms which can sleep between 2 - 5 persons. We can offer a travel cot for the very young. All our rooms have en suite facilities and each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a televison and a hairdryer.

Begin your day with a wide range of cereals, yogurts, fruit, porridge, as well as a full Scottish breakfast complete with vegetarian option. Early breakfast by arrangement. We also can provide a high chair in the breakfast room.
Ample off street parking is available to all our guests. No smoking permitted in Strathallan Guest House.
We provide convenient access to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament and Edinburgh's Old and New Towns. The Royal Commonwealth Pool and Leisure Centre are only a 5 minute walk away and another few minutes takes you into Holyrood Park where you can climb to the top of Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh's famous volcanic hill.
