Pilrig House has a fascinating history and was once the home of Robert Louis Stevenson's family - the house is mentioned in his novels Kidnapped and Catriona. Pilrig Park Apartment has an exclusive Palladian staircase entrance and sleeps 3 - 4 persons in one double bedroom and one single bedroom - both with park views. There is an oak-floored living room with a pull-out sofa-bed, a fully tiled bathroom with shower/shower screen over bath and a fully equipped kitchen. Facilities include: flat-screen TV, DVD, CD-player, digital radio, ironing facilities, clothes washer-dryer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee-maker, adjustable heating in all rooms, overhead dimmer lighting.
