Located only 3 miles from the centre of Edinburgh, our guest house offers panoramic views across the Firth of Forth. Joppa Turrets has a beach front location with a mile of sand beyond our garden wall. Peacefully situated with no passing traffic,
we offer easy access for the A1 and City bypass with a 15 minute bus journey taking you into the City. Buses are frequent during the day and continue into the early hours. Prices from: £29 per person/night
There is a variety of rooms on offer in our guest house, all having a fantastic view out onto the Firth of Forth and the beautiful sandy beach. We have single rooms with en-suite or private facilities and double, twin or triple rooms with en-suite facilities. There are hospitality trays and TV/ DVDs in all rooms with a selection of DVDs available to view. We are a non-smoking
establishment.

The house was built in the mid-1800's and is located within the City boundaries. Joppa and Portobello are distinct residential communities which developed as Edinburgh expanded. The area became a popular resort as cheaper travel enabled families to take the sea air. The guest house's location affords the best of both worlds, being only 3 miles from the centre of the city, it is also beautifully tranquil for a relaxing break.
