These two holiday homes in Edinburgh are centrally located one-bedroom apartments on the second floor of an architecturally significant building (B-listed); Flat 6 overlooks Greyfriars Church (pictured below), and Flat 7 has views down the attractive cobbled street towards Forrest Road. These quiet retreats sleep 1 - 3 people in a bedroom with king-size double bed and a double sofa-bed in the living room.
Free wifi internet access is available in both apartments. Centrally located for all attractions and festivals with Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile only a few minutes' walk away. Prices from: £350 - £790 per week, with shorter and longer stays possible.
Flat 6 is a cosy and quiet retreat full of Old Town charm, from the wood-panelled doors and wooden floors to the picturesque windows with their views over Greyfriars Church and the Old Town rooftops. The double bedroom, a quiet room overlooking the church, has wall-to-wall carpeting and is well furnished. The shower-room is tiled and has a wash-hand basin, WC and standard-size power shower (no bathtub).

The homely living room has a peaceful outlook. There is a fireplace and a comfortable dining area. The two-seater sofa converts into a double sofa bed and there is a comfortable armchair. An attractive rug sets off the polished wooden floors, and a TV (with DVD and CD player) and wee library of books and DVDs complete the home comforts.
Flat 7 is similar and looks out on to the pretty cobbled lane rather than the churchyard. This apartment has a bathtub with shower over.
Each apartment has a modern kitchen well provided with crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchenware, as well as a washing machine, fridge-freezer, cooker and microwave. Gas, electricity, local taxes and use of linen and towels are included in the price.
