This holiday home in Edinburgh is a centrally located one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of an architecturally significant building (B-listed). Overlooking Greyfriars Church (pictured below), this quiet retreat sleeps 1 - 4 persons in a bedroom with king-size double bed and a double sofa-bed in the living room. Centrally located for all attractions and festivals with Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile only a few minutes' walk away. Prices from: £350 - £790 per week, with shorter and longer stays possible.
The apartment is a cosy and quiet retreat full of Old Town charm, from the wood-panelled doors and wooden floors to the picturesque windows with their views over Greyfriars Church and the Old Town rooftops. The double bedroom, a quiet room overlooking the church, has wall-to-wall carpeting and is well furnished. The shower-room is tiled and has a wash-hand basin, w.c.and standard-size power shower (no bathtub).

The homely living room has a peaceful outlook. There is a fireplace and a comfortable dining area. The two-seater sofa converts into a double sofa bed and there is a comfortable armchair. An attractive rug sets off the polished wooden floors, and a TV (with DVD and CD player) and wee library of books and DVDs complete the home comforts.
The modern kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchenware, as well as a washing machine, fridge-freezer, cooker and microwave. Gas, electricity, local taxes and use of linen and towels are included in the price.

Situated on Forrest Hill off the George IV Bridge, close to the historic Royal Mile in the centre of Scotland's beautiful capital city, the apartment is within easy walking distance of the major tourist attractions, festival venues, shops, University and nightlife. Close to the air, train and bus terminals, providing easy access to other parts of Scotland.
