This unique self catering accommodation has an inviting Georgian façade, a specially designed interior
and a superb location within the World Heritage Site on Edinburgh's George Square. Providing an excellent choice for those that require not only city centre accommodation, but also the rare luxuries of private parking and a lovely south west facing garden. Prices from: £110 - £400 per night
Sleeping 6 - 8 persons, the accommodation is spread over 3 floors and comprises of a double height drawing room with helical staircase, 3 double bedrooms (2 with en-suite shower rooms), a family bathroom with separate shower and bath and a fully fitted kitchen with a door to the basement area. There is also a garden room (pictured below right) with original vaulted ceiling, wood burning stove, dining area and access to the patio area & garden. There is a double sofabed in the garden room as well an additional wc on the garden floor.

The apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, hair dryer, ironing facilities, washing machine, satellite/cable TV, wireless internet and telephone (incoming calls only). There are bath towels, bedding and linen provided. Cot/ travel cot and high chair available.

One member of the booking party must be over 25 years. This apartment is not suitable for stag parties, hen parties or young single sex groups. We reserve the right to vet any group booking.
Built in 1776 by Thomas Lockhart, the King's Commissioner in Scotland, this property has been a fashionable drawing room during the Scottish Enlightenment, a private house and a church, latterly the Orthodox chaplaincy. The house was extensively renovated in 2004 with the guidance of Historic Scotland and the property is conveniently located adjacent to the Meadows, the new Quartermile development and Edinburgh University.
