Situated in a leafy square on the eastern edge of Edinburgh 's famous New Town, this spacious Grade A listed Georgian apartment sleeps 8 - 10 persons and was built by James Begg in 1791. It occupies a large corner plot on the lower ground floor of a substantial building which was completed after the Napoleonic Wars. Just 5 minutes' walk from the east end of Princes Street, the accommodation comprises of a large hallway, very large lounge, 4 spacious double bedrooms, one bathroom, one shower room and a fully fitted kitchen. Prices: from £150 per night/ from £700 per week
Two of our double bedrooms have a 'zip/link' bed, which means they have the flexibility of being used as twin rooms with 2 single beds in each, or as double rooms, each with one super king size bed. The other two double bedrooms have standard double beds.
(There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge
for 2 additional guests). All bedrooms are very spacious and all have lots of storage space and good quality furniture The bathroom is tiled throughout and has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC. The shower room is also fully tiled and has a walk in shower, wash basin and WC.

The lounge is very large (27 feet long and 18 feet wide) with three Georgian windows, one of which is a large bay window. There is an original Georgian range in the fireplace. The lounge is very comfortably furnished with three leather sofas, one of which converts into the double sofa bed. There is a large elegant dining table situated at the bay window. The room also has a large flat screen TV. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and microwave.
Linen, towels, gas, electricity, hot water and all taxes are included in the price. Gas central heating throughout the apartment and a constant supply of hot water.
The apartment can also cater for groups looking for 3 bedrooms only as we are happy to close the 4th bedroom and reduce the tariff accordingly.
Located a 5 minute walk from the east end of Princes Street, this centrally located apartment is an even shorter walk to a number of designer shops in Multrees Walk, including Louis Vuitton, Harvey Nichols and Emporio Armani. The National Portrait Gallery in Queen Street and the Nelson Monument on Calton Hill are just two places of historical interest that are also within easy walking distance.
