Located just a ten minute walk from the main shopping area at Princes Street, Edinburgh House is a small mother and daughter run guest house in a traditional tenement building. Only a short bus ride from all of the main city centre attractions, there are a variety of restaurants near to the guest house and the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre is only a couple of minutes walk away. All of our rooms are finished to a high standard with en suite bathrooms, multi-channel digital TV, tea/coffee making facilites and hairdryers in every room. We have 3 family rooms available, each with one double bed and one single bed. Should our guests have any special requirements such as booking a taxi, we are happy to help. We speak French and Italian for our foreign visitors.

Edinburgh House is only a short walk or bus ride to city centre attractions like Princes Street, Calton Hill, The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. Plenty of buses pass very close to our guest house (Nos. 10, 11, 16, 17, 22, 25) which go into town in one direction, and in the other, to Leith and Ocean Terminal which is home to the Royal Yacht Britannia.
