Very much a family home, our friendly bed and breakfast is centrally situated in a quiet residential street just a few minutes walk south of The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.
The house itself is an early Victorian terraced house and has some steep stairs, making it not suitable for the elderly or disabled. Prices from: £22 - £30 per person/night
We have two rooms – one twin/ triple room and one double room (neither en-suite).
Alison and her husband Christian are a Franco/Scottish couple who also speak Spanish and very much enjoy having overseas visitors. We also have two ultra friendly cats, Sinbad and Isla. We serve a buffet breakfast between 8 and 10 (or later if required).

Alison's B&B is a short walk from the centre of the Old Town which has attractions like the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Our bed and breakfast is conveniently situated for those visiting the city hospitals (both the Royal Infirmary and the Sick Kids). We are also well positioned for those visiting Edinburgh University and the Conference Centre.
